Job Search

Finding a full-time job after graduation is a job in itself! To help facilitate you through this process, there are several ways that UCS can help:
  • Individual meetings with an advisor to discuss available resources and options for a particular goal
  • FrogJobs.net : a web-based system which posts job and internship listings
  • On-Campus Interviews during fall and spring semesters
  • Career Resource Center with directories and other job search guides
  • Links with TCU Alumni in order to build networks

Networking is a key component of any job search. In fact, most jobs are never posted; leading most people to get their jobs through the people they know.

Your network is much bigger than you might think. Consider not only friends and family, but also the members of professional associations, places of worship, fraternal organizations, alumni associations, and other groups with which you are affiliated. The desired contact may not be someone you know, but someone that your friend's parent knows. Networks can grow large and they are an excellent way to find a great job opportunity.
